Daniel Whitley formed Whitley + Partners in January 2022. Daniel is a passionate building services engineer with a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for building form, architectural finesse and structural efficiency.
It takes creative minds from all three main disciplines to create buildings which are efficient, healthy and enhance occupant comfort. Daniel is a Chartered Engineer with the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and holds a Masters Degree in Energy & Sustainable Building Design. Daniel also sits on the Merseyside and North Wales Region CIBSE committee as Honorary Secretary.
Daniel’s experience stems from an electrical apprenticeship moving into building services consulting engineering in his early twenties. The next twenty years saw Daniel work across the globe, with eight years in the Middle East working on some of the region’s most iconic projects for a global, blue-chip British consultancy. Daniel also has a wealth of experience working for a number of national tier-one building services contractors, running internal design departments and overseeing the delivery of major schemes across the country.
